1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as items in your cart, whether you are logged in, or the choices you have made about cookies. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called “first-party” cookies; cookies set by other organizations are “third-party” cookies. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (“session” cookies), while others remain for a set period (“persistent” cookies).
Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels and web beacons, work in comparable ways. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies.
2. How We Use Cookies
ETAAC Pest Control uses cookies on etaac.org (the “Site”) to:
- keep the Site secure and protect it from malicious traffic and login attacks;
- make the online booking cart and checkout work;
- keep customers and administrators signed in;
- remember your cookie consent choices; and
- remember interface preferences for logged-in users.
We use the CookieYes consent banner to request and record your consent for any cookies that are not strictly necessary. For more about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
3. Cookie Categories
Our consent banner groups cookies into the following categories, as defined by CookieYes:
- Necessary – Required to enable the basic features of the Site, such as secure login, the booking cart and remembering your consent preferences. These cookies do not store personally identifiable data for marketing purposes and cannot be switched off in the banner.
- Functional – Help perform certain functions, such as remembering preferences, sharing content or collecting feedback.
- Analytics – Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site by providing information such as the number of visitors, bounce rate and traffic source.
- Performance – Help us understand and analyze key performance indexes of the Site so that we can deliver a better experience.
- Advertisement – Used to provide visitors with customized advertisements based on pages visited and to measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns.
At present, the Site relies mainly on necessary cookies. We do not currently run third-party advertising networks, and no advertisement cookies are set. Cookies in non-necessary categories are only used if you allow them in the consent banner.
4. Cookies Used on This Site
The table below lists the cookies we expect the Site to use. An asterisk (*) indicates a variable part of the name. Exact durations may vary slightly with software updates.

Wordfence also logs IP addresses and request details on the server to block malicious traffic; that logging is described in our Privacy Policy. Payment processors used at checkout may set their own cookies on their payment pages or forms to prevent fraud; those cookies are governed by the processors’ own policies.
5. Third-Party and Advertising Cookies
Earlier versions of our policies referred to advertising cookies from Google (including the DoubleClick DART cookie and Google AdSense) and to the Amazon Associates Program. The Site does not currently use these services. If we add any analytics, advertising or affiliate partners in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and our cookie consent tool before those cookies are set, and they will only be used in line with your consent choices.
6. Changing Your Consent
When you first visit the Site, the cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-necessary cookies or customize your choices by category. You can review or change your choices at any time by clicking the link below or the “Change cookie settings” link in the Site footer:
Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies that were already used before you changed your choices, but non-necessary cookies will no longer be used afterward. You may also need to delete existing cookies in your browser.
7. Browser Controls
Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. You can usually find these controls in the “Settings,” “Preferences,” “Privacy” or “Security” menu of your browser, and more detailed information is available on each browser’s help website. You can also browse in private or incognito mode, which typically deletes cookies when the window is closed.
Please note that if you block all cookies, including necessary cookies, some parts of the Site, such as the booking cart, checkout and account login, may not work properly. Browser settings that send a Global Privacy Control signal are honored as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the technologies we use or when the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where changes affect non-necessary cookies, we may ask for your consent again.
9. Contact Us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, call (855) 987-5196 (9AM–6PM), email [email protected], or use our contact page.
